I ordered a used video card for a 2009 iMac from Macpalace.com and it arrived quickly and in good shape at a competitive price. I would definitely order from them again.

HORRIBLE customer service! If I could rate zero I would. I purchased a magsafe I/O board, which I later found out didn't work. Called and spoke to someone who told me to call back and speak to his manager (Josh) to ask for either a refund or an exchange. THIS WAS HIS SUGGESTION, which means a REFUND was an option. I called back, and Josh told me to drive 45 mins from where I live to exchange it. I told him I'd rather a refund because I don't want to keep driving 45mins each way not knowing if the exchange is going to work. He refused offering a refund (even though his employee told me earlier this was an option), and says "if you don't want it then you can just resell it, but its not my problem that it doesn't work". So I then asked why if "no refunds/final sale" is the return policy, why didn't his employee explain this before I made the purchase and why aren't there any signs inside of the office that also state this. His reply: "Why didn't you ask?" EXCUSE ME?! Shifty business here!

Bait & Switch: Not only the wrong graphics card picture, but they sent a completely incompatible, non-Apple graphics card. Report them to the Better Business Bureau so the Fed can shut them down over false advertisement, bait-and-switch, & libel.

These people failed to fill my order. E-mailed us after two weeks of waiting telling us that they had changed the part price and we had to pay more if we wanted it. DO NOT DO COMMERCE with these people.

After purchasing a refurbished product from the Mac Palace, Inc. and installing it, the product failed to perform as described. Mac Palace representative took me through numerous steps and countless hours of testing and chasing my tail with no results. After months of this back and forth, Mac Palace, Inc. has finally accepted the return, however they charge a 30% restocking fee. One can quickly see that a $300 product + shipping in both directions has leaves a buyer with over $100 is lost money on a faulty product.



I believe this business should be investigated for their scam-like practice.

I had purchased from MacPalace previously without issue however I purchased a MacBook Pro Logic Board this past spring for my MBP in Asia. The Apple repair center tested the board twice and found it was faulty. I later read in other reviews this often happens with items from MacPalace. I sent the board back with business partners who sent it FedEx to MacPalace to be replaced. I contacted them over and over again by both email and phone. They finally said they would send a replacement to my friend who was returning to Asia. All information and details were sent to MacPalace a month before his departure. Nothing was sent, I called them, got the run around, they said they would issue a refund - no refund, no response. I finally submitted all the details and correspondence to Wells Fargo Credit Card Fraud control to force the refund. 'They are scam artist, unethical and should not be trusted under any circumstances. I wish I had read reviews about them before I ever started on this adventure. You are warned - I would not do business with them under ANY circumstances and would sue them if I was in the US.

Of 2 experiences with this company I've had 2 bad results. The first time, the part did finally come after they changed the shipping terms from the original invoice without notification and no reimbursement. I let that go and gave them another chance; I've now ordered a graphics card that said "in stock" on their website and they used it to bait and switch saying all they have is another one for much more money. I asked for a refund and they have gone silent so I am initiating a charge back through my bank. If you have similar experiences remember to issue a charge back, you will get a refund and it will force their bank to pay you back.

I need to correct the previous post, although I'm still upset about the bait and switch they apparently did not charge my credit card so there is no need for a chargeback. I'm done with macpalace and going back to using ebay where the prices are chepaer and there are buyer protection and ratings.

We were looking for a xServe part, which was extremely expensive. After contacting them and placing the order, not only we found MacPalace staff very knowledgeable but the price was the lowest on the web.

They also offered free shipping to us. On our vendor list for our future purchases...

DON'T WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!! For all Apple Mac lovers.

After I purchased the product I had a serious phone calls with customer service politely asking about shipping time. I have paid express shipping. After 5 days they still didn't ship the item or even email for the shipping status. Of course, I placed a new phone call and they manipulated with incorrect information's (lied), they treated and patronized me in a disgusting way to make me feel as IDIOT not as customer. I have never had such a humiliating experience. This is more like to me as a Mac Dungeon instead of a Palace.

So when you read this, be my guest and "try" to make same mistake.
