Just fun. Its everything you could want from a tiki bar. The food and the service is good. The atmosphere is excellent. Its one of the few places on Brand you can have a reasonably quiet lunch and not have to fight background noise to make conversation.

Nice restaurant and tasty food. Nice to go with family. I recommend to visit this restaurant for your dinner.

Kitschy restaurant that reminded me of the old Tonga Room in San Francisco. The Tonga Room had an indoor pool and rain. A band would play on a boat that floated on the pool. This restaurant had that same Hawaiian feel to it.

Good lunch special.

This is an excellent steakhouse in the city of Glendale that has excellent food for the value and everybody should come here and get these ones

Great place for happy hour! Their house cabernet is pretty good especially for the price. I'd recommend their blackened rib eye steak & twice baked potato with the peppercorn sauce. Yummm. They also have a huge saltwater tank and the variety of fish makes for a cool show.

The best of both worlds, everything on Damon's menu is so so so good, and the customer service is the best, We have been going back for more every Sunday for years.
If you like excellent food and amazing service then Damon's Steak House is for you.
As with any business you will get negative reviews, like the saying goes you can't please everyone.
When i see a bad review for Damon's, i just figure it is one of those people who like giving bad reviews because everything did not go their way. These people have to remember we are all human and people make mistakes. it doesn't mean you should bash a business because you didn't get what you want when you wanted it.
and also if you are going to give a bad review, think about the whole situation, maybe you had something to do with the bad service.

Old school steak house. Funky cocktails. Server mixes salad at your table. The atmosphere is amazing and fun.

Our group from the office went there for early dinner.
What a surprise for a place with a Hawaiian decor had such great steaks!
Had the best prime rib, ordered the smallest one but looked pretty big to me.
They should monitor the appetizers, the calarmari and chix wings were not the best.

Only 3 stars because this place is "hit and miss." Some times you'll have good food, drinks and fun. Other times ... not so much. Regardless, the decor is a "must see" for fans of all levels of "tiki."

This place looks awesome. Went there for lunch and tried their pastrami, it was the tastiest pastrami I've ever had. I ordered the veggie burger and I loved it. I would recommend this place.

I only go at lunch, but always enjoy myself. Quiet, relaxing, dim-lit, island-themed escape from the office. I like the chopped Cobb, the burger & the brisket sandwich, and recently grabbed a great French dip. All good. Daily specials are usually great too.

The Mai Tais are tasty & strong, and all of the servers & hosts have always been super nice. A really special place, and extra lovely for tiki/exotica fans.

Quick heads up - side salads have beets! It's a regional thing I think, as other Glendale places have the same thing. I only mention it, as it might come as a surprise.

Damon's has been here for me for years, even though I have moved away. When ever I visit Glendale and am here for Dinner...I head to Damon's. The atmosphere, the food, and even the drinks are always great...especially the salad...

atmosphere: dark, musky (moldy). [much like Jax a few doors down]. it's got some charm though, i'll give it that.



menu: normal burger/fries and a few steak and fish entrees. no complaints, good effort what they intend to do



service: friendly, but a little slow in the head. your table will shuffle the drinks, and potentially the food. the waitresses may drop something on you, and they nearly lost a friend's ATM card (the place is so dark, you can't see once something drops)

Never knew this place existed until I started working a few blocks away. Now it's a favorite after-work hangout. Mostly we gather around the small tables in the back by the bar, but from time to time we have dinner in the main dining area too. The bar service is always quick and friendly, as is the table service. I've sampled the prime rib and found it to be decent, as are the onion rings, fries and homemade potato chips. Quirky but all in all a fun place to eat and hang out with a group of friends.

We have had a few dinners at Damons. We enjoyed our meals and they have a nice wine selection.

We visit Glendale on occasion and we always try to make a point of having dinner at Damons. We enjoy the food and quick service.

Damon's is my #1 lunch destination in Glendale. You can't go wrong with the Wednesday special of Chicken Fried Steak and mashed potatos. Prices are very reasonable ($9-$13 for lunch), and you get plenty of good home-style food.
