Garnet Valley High School, located in Glen Mills, Pa., is a part of the Garnet Valley School District. The school serves more than 1,250 students in grades nine through 12. It offers classes in English, math, science and social studies. Garnet Valley High School provides a range of extracurricular activities that includes art, music, drama, dance, and family and consumer science. It offers French, German and Spanish as foreign languages. The school s sports activities include baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, swimming and ice hockey. It operates a student council, dance team, and environmental, photography and chess clubs. The school also conducts various fundraising events and activities, including plays, musical concerts and athletic programs. Founded in 1966, Garnet Valley High School is a member of several associations, including the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling.
