Sorry to see they closed. They were a big help to me when I need them. I waited a week or so, but always got a job done right.

I have been dealing with Computer Literates since they opened. I have always received great service from their staff. Sometimes they get overwhelmed with the volume and everyone thinks their item should be first. Using common sense as a cutomer and not expecting the impossible is important. They get all of my work building and servicing my computers. A rare custom builder that repairs whenever possible rather than pushing a new unit.

I have had my computer serviced at Computer Literates for several years. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable about all sorts of computer problems. If they did not know the answer when I brought it in, they knew the answer shortly after diagnosing my problems. Their prices are very reasonable for being a repair shop and they have gone out of their way to make sure the repair is done right. These guys have been in Gibsonia since 1994 which means they must be doing something right.

The tech kept complaining that the owner had not paid him in a long time and he was not sure if he was going to get paid. The virus was never really cleaned out and I kept getting a blue screen with white letters on it.

I have purchased several computers from them in the past and have had no problems. Good friendly service and knowledgable people

Great group!! I used them for several years for my business as well as personal equipment and I found them to be very honest, trustworthy and dependable. My business had very limited resources and John Mack did everything he could to give us the best equipment and service within our extremely tight budget. All fees and total costs not disclosed due to poor communication. When I was given verbal cost of repair, no mention was made for additional hourly labor. I was very explicit asking what the repair cost covered as I did not want to pay additional. When I was called to pick up the laptop, hourly rate was added. When I balked at the cost they pulled the harddrive, erased the software and handed me the empty harddrive. Very petty and unprofessional. They then charged for bench time when I chose not to give in to the additional hourly rate that was not disclosed originally. Will not do business with again.
