This business is trying to sell, and it's probably a good thing as they are not very good when it comes to the business end of things. My daughter had her wedding there in June and you want to talk about issues... the place is beautiful, don't get me wrong, they do have good points, but when the fun was over, it was over... they charged my daughter and her new husband over $2000 more than they had agreed upon. It was a nightmere. The owner of the business would not even come down and discuss this, she was unavailable at that time and was sending messages up and down the stairs with a young man (whom i felt very sorry for). It had been agreed that so much beer and wine was to be used. After that point, it would no longer be an open bar, but for some reason, when the drinks were gone, they kept serving them and no one paid (but my daughter and her new husband). At 1 in the morning, they threw this at us and as stated before, the owner would not even come down and discuss this with us. I"m not really sure what happened that night, but i know that i would never recommend this place to anyone who was getting married. They even charged the couple for them spraying for bugs 3 times because they couldn't get a good kill!!! i would think after we paid for the first time, the rest would have been their responsibility, not my daughters. Unbelievable. Again, it was a beautiful place, but i think it might be a good thing that they are trying to sell it and hopefully the next owners will be a little more responsible and customer oriented.
