Located in Georgetown, S.C., the Georgetown County School District maintains an operations section that has the Energy Management Department, which offers information regarding energy saving. The Energy Management Department also provides information regarding heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. It works in collaboration with the Department of Energy, South Carolina Energy Office and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Georgetown County School District also operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
