As a supposed 1099 independent contractor...the owner...uses a time clock. Sets specific work hrs,every way she wants work to be done,and fires upon a whim.Makes up bogus stories and questioned me on every other employee if they were on drugs ? Which they were not and all when asked like me would have willing to be tested if given a chance..She resented me standing up for others.. Tried to blame a horse dying for a one or 2 time late feeding employee got very ill from spraying Lysol and leaving carpet fresheners in bottom of stalls under sawdust as she insisted that we did or she would fire us.I am filing an SS8 form to let IRS determine if we were in fact employees not independent contractors..Oh even the paramedics thought it odd she did not come out to her Barn when they came stabilizers a young mom working in the Lysol,carpet freshener and saw dust air environment.She lost feelings in her fingers,hands & feet to point she was unable to walk,barely talk while gasping for breath.
