I got approved for Quail Woods on June 3rd I moved in June 29th and not once did anybody tell me there was a roach infestation. Had I known this I would HAVE NEVER MOVED IN. once I got all of my belongings to the home I noticed toothpaste had been used to fill cracks. The whole frame of the living room Window is cracked really bad so when it rains the water comes straight in. My refrigerator was about 10 years old and went out and I had to throw away a lot of my kids food. I’ve only been living here for 5 days.This company is dishonest and unprofessional. The options I got after notifying them was I could take my deposit back and move(more stress on me) or stay and they’ll get rid of the roaches and fix the issues(even more stress) at this point I don’t trust the people at the rent office. This really sucks.

These apartments are run by heartless, soulless, people. I was caring for my mother who just passed away from pancreatic cancer, and these monsters threw me, my two year old son, and my autistic brother out on the streets barely 12 hours after her passing, and wouldn't even let us get all of our belongings out. They made fun of us, laughed at us, and even brought the police with them. We always paid the rent on time, never caused any problems, and we're never a nuisance. My mother even bought the staff Christmas presents, because that's the kind of caring and giving person she was. Their actions are inexcusable and cruel, and if she were alive today to see what they've done, it would break her heart.

After reading the reviews I knew what I was getting myself into. I needed something asap so I went against my better judgment. This has been the absolute worst complex I've ever lived in. It's been 7 horrible months and yet to receive the draws to my refrigerator, screen door and whether strip for my front door. I've spoken to numerous individuals in the office and been patient. No one does their job, return calls and is very rude. I've had to contact the corporate with hopes that I would receive my requests. Needless to say my lease is will be up in December and will not be renewing! Please avoid this place, you have a better chance living in a animal shelter!

Tina Potter is supposedly the manager at the main south wood really office in Gastonia but apparently manages nothing. She allows her employees to treat people disrespectfully by allowing them to continually hang up on people who are looking for answers. She has yet to return any of my phone calls to address the misconduct of the employee at the property site and the employee at her office that is so incredibly disrespectful.

We gave Southwood Realty a 30 day verbal notice that we would be leaving. the lady in from office said ok that fine. Well 4 months pass and come to find out the stuck us with a bill for $548 because we did not give them a written notice. This has went on our credit and the office is not willing to work out a payment. Staff in office are very rude. Stay away from this place!!!!
