Under normal circumstances I would give the Salvation Army a four star rating, but after the poor customer service experience I had on 6/27/16 they are lucky to get one star. I had a scheduled pick up on 6/27/16 and when the two employees arrived they refused to accept a twin size daybed and a 19" television. The daybed was unassembled and the parts are lightweight and not heavy to lift for two people, nor should the television have presented a problem with the use of a dolly. When I scheduled the pick up I was told that these items were acceptable which leaves me to believe the employees lied when they said otherwise, and that they were just too lazy to do their jobs. The employees were African Americans, one female and one male. If this is how employees represent the company they are employed for then maybe the Salvation Army needs to seriously reconsider hiring individuals who are sincere about the level of customer service they provide and who exude a level of loyalty and integrity for the company in which they represent.
