James V. Revercomb established Revcar Fasteners in 1969 in Roanoke, Virginia, with a promise to provide honest, reliable service and competitively priced fasteners for southwest Virginia. Starting with seven people we have grown to one hundred thirty eight employees in five locations. Today we are a full line / full service fastener distributor with office and warehouse locations in Roanoke and Richmond, Virginia; Frederick, Maryland; Raleigh, North Carolina and Berlin, Connecticut. Over 85% of our sales come from the OEM market, primarily through Inventory Management Programs tailored to the needs of our customers. Ten percent of sales are Military (MS - NAS). We are Level One distributors to Newport News Shipbuilding. We service customers in forty-eight states and several foreign countries. Wurth Revcar is an authorized master distributor for many of the top proprietary lines in America. These include: Southco, Heyco, AVK, Huck, Tinnerman, Palnut, Avdel/Cherry, SPS Unbrako, SPS Flexloc, Camcar, Pop, Greer, Gesipa, Shakeproof, ESNA, TRW, Gripco, Captive, Richco, and RAF. We also were awarded the Distinguished Distributor from Emhart. Revcar joined the Wurth Group in January 1996. Since this time we have grown to service a larger market, obtained additional inventory management accounts, initiated purchases abroad and opened two new branches: one in Frederick, Maryland and the other in Raleigh, North Carolina. We also became ISO 9002 certified in June 1998 and ISO 9001: 2000 in September 1999. Wurth Revcar acquired Wurth Eastern Maintenance and Industrial Supplies in January of 2009. With this acquisition, Wurth Revcar now has five locations
