I am currently having issues with a recent van purchase. It seems as though I purchased a van that has an accident history while my wife and I were told differently. It was suggested that I was in need of a new windshield due to a leak I had with the overhead compartment (FALSE). Al and his son arrived at my home and took the time to verify where the leak was coming from. He proved that water was entering the van from between the metal that is pinch welded across the top of the windshield. This further proves that the van had body work done prior to us purchasing it. We are in the process of having the van looked at by a trusted mechanic to further prove this assumption.

Al ordered my windshield in advance, spent 1.5 hours trying to figure out our problem, and didn't charge me a dime even after I offered to pay him for his time. He also provided us with an email further discussing his findings so we can present his information, and the information from my mechanic, to the dealership we purchased the van.

I can not stress enough how incredible it is to stumble upon someone in the "Service Industry", regardless of what service they provide, who is willing to go above and beyond their job description to simply help out a family in need. It's not always about making a buck and I hope this review makes it to as many readers looking for an exceptional windshield repair company.

My son managed to shatter the rear window of my minivan. SOS was at my house less than an hour after I called them and had the window replaced less than another hour later. They even cleaned up the shattered remains of the old window.

My windshield had slowly accumulated a few ever expanding cracks and needed to be replaced. I'm not one to randomly choose the first option I see for anything I am going to buy, especially if it involves products or services related to the safety and well being of myself and my family. After a couple of days of doing some research online and making several phone calls, the choice for who I was going to select to replace my windshield became obvious: SOS Windshield.



I am all for supporting locally owned and operated businesses, however I also don't like spending more money than I need or have to for a product or service. I always compare the large nationwide chains versus the local businesses, and I always look for the consumer holy trinity (quality work, customer service to back it up, all at an affordable price). After reading and hearing the numerous negative reviews for Safelite and others, I chose SOS Windshield. SOS Windshield had everything I was looking for.



Al was a pleasure to speak with over the phone, and was able to fit me into his schedule at a time (and place) that was convenient for me. He was extremely courteous and polite with quality work second to none. My windshield looks like new from the factory. Al was very professional and a pleasure to do business with. There aren't many people out there with the character, quality, and professionalism that Al has and instills in his business. I highly recommend Al and SOS Windshield, you won't be dissapointed.

I called SOS this past week and spoke with Al. He was able to fit me in the same day. He called to inform me he was en-route. Shortly thereafter, I remembered I told him the wrong year for my car. He was very accommodating and said he'd go back to the shop to get the right windshield (he wasn't irritated at all).



He arrived and got right to work and had my windshield replaced within 1 hr 20 minutes. He was very diligent and got it done right. I threw in a little extra to make up for his lost time because of my mistake. Great guy and great service. Highly recommend.

I had to have my windshield replaced and did *not* want to go through Safelite, who now processes the claims for my insurance company. (By the way, I didn't think my insurance company could *push* a specific company, either.)



Think about this concept: A very large company, with employees who could, frankly, care less about doing a *great* job because they "want you to be a customer for life" ~or~ a family-owned company where every dollar earned is reason to know that customers are truly their bread & butter.



I chose the family-owned, local company whose owner took care of my windshield replacement. Even though I already knew about how the process worked, Al made sure he explained to me how my insurance company would get in touch with him via fax with all my information.



Simple process and highly recommended.
