Northwest Disaster Services is an amazing company filled with incredibly hard-working, kind, and talented people. When we were faced with losing our home due to extensive damage they stepped up and gave us hope. Other companies that had given us bids tried to talk us into basically tearing down the effected part of the house and starting over, but Gary and John told us exactly what needed to be done and why and walked us through every step. Not only that, but they got the job done quickly so that we could get back to living in our home. My wife and I were amazed at their efficiency. In less than a day they were able to remove a 50+ year old sub floor and reinforce it. For those of you lucky enough to have never dealt with that kind subfloor, it is terrible to remove as it is attached with what ever happened to be near by at the time it was originally built. Northwest Services handled it like a champ. They were so good and fast at their job that I actually had to have them wait a couple days to come back and finish so I could have the plumber and electrician come out. When they came back to finish, they had the floors and walls reset that day so that the house was habitable again. I was ecstatic with being able to stand on my floor without worrying about falling through. They also matched the unaffected subfloor so well that the difference was the newness of the board. If you ever do need Disaster Recovery,call these people ASAP. Gary and John are wonderful people who actually care about you and not just what they can get from insurance. I was treated like a person instead of a just a claim, which in a time of already great stress is priceless.
