DO NOT COME HERE!! the dentist is rough and doesnt care about anything but the money . i went to the hospital and had an infection from this place. who gave that lady her degree

I truly love Island Dental and Dr. Shahla. Im not a rich person at all. IM a single dad so budget is tight.

They have always gone out of there way to save me money and alot of it. I had to get a partial cause i had 3 teeth knocked out from Hockey. She only charged me 800 compared to 2000 which is how much every other dentist i went to wanted to charge me. That also includes removing 3 cracked teeth plus gettting the remainder of the teeth that were knocked out. And as for kids I take my 3 year old daughter there. Who has a full set of teeth absolutley loves her and shes not rough with her at all. All and all i would recomend island dental to anyone. Im not trying to take away from other peoples bad visit. Im sorry it didint go well for you and your family. but i have no complaints and couldnt be more satisfied.

Dentist Shahla is the worst dentist I have ever taken my kids to and I really regret it!. My 9 yr old son needed a crown and she was so rough and careless. To sit the crown she first put a little metal rind around the tooth and pushed it inn with lots of force and made my son gum bleed a lot and right after that she pushed the crown inn with lots of force as well not even caring about my poor son crying of pain,when I asked her to stop she didn't and just said it wasn't hurting him because he was numbed. My son had another crown at at different dentist office before and never complained about it during the procedure so I know he was in excruciating pain with Dr Shahla and she did not ever care about finding the right size of crown she shoved a really big crown into his gum and he was complaining about pain after that for a few days and I decided to take hem to a different dentist where they told me he had gotten an infection and he was in pain because the crown was too big. I have 2 other kids and asked her some questions about their teeth and she answered (don't you have anything else to do but to be looking in you're kids mouths!.) What type of dentist says that?!. I seriously don't know how she got her license!. Only reason I rated one star it's because I had to select one option but I would have given her -0. I seriously hate her for making my son suffer like that.. please don't take you're kids there!.

The worst dentists ever. Crown fell in a couple of month,after supposedly finished. She wanted to charge me again. Crown was awfully shaped and too big. She treats patients very bad. Price seems fine, but they never finish and wants to charge again and again for the same work.
