Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Galveston. The view is superb.

Wow! This is great! Only 21 demerits in their Dec. 29-Jan 2 health inspection...

Very disappointed in the quality or lack of quality. Awful!

I never experienced those kind of services. if you are alone at this site, please don't expect their services. Totally there is discrimination.

We will be stopping here every time we come back to Galveston! The burgers are huge and amazing!!

This place was said to have the best food on the island! I beg to differ! I will say they think a lot of themselves as reflected in their prices! The service is slow at best! The food nothing to write home about! It was not worth the drive from Houston to eat there! i wouldn't go back even if I lived there!

These points are in the negative:

--ten minutes after being seated before a waitstaff person came to take our drink order

--ten minutes later our drinks came and our order was taken

--had to get our own table service from an adjoining table

--insufficient sweetener packets--only sugar--in the sweetener box

--after taking our order, the waitstaff person came back to our table to state that the crab cakes (usually the best in the area) had been gone since 10:45 that morning

--waitstaff person kept complaining about the long hours she had to work with insufficient breaks

--I stated that I only wanted sliced tomatoes to eat. When the tomato slices were delivered to our table, they were substandard--green, hard centers--most unattractive.

--Needless to say, I`ll not be eating there again any time soon.
