Established in 1943, Building Material Distributors is a wholesale distributor and exporter of specialty and commodity building materials. BMD supplies products to independent lumberyards, regional building material dealers, national chains, window and door specialty retailers, hardware retailers and home centers throughout California and northwest Nevada. Building Material Distributors is headquartered on a 22-acre site in Galt, Calif., with branch offices in Northridge, Ontario, Eureka and Vernon, Calif., as well business offices in Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Tokyo.
