Food is OK.Portions are small and prices are very high!

When we went here we were seated very quickly and the service is so fast that we were surprised that the prices beside those good looking food are so reasonable.

Been a happy customer for years. Great food. Unique food - Not a bunch of stuff from a restaurant service heated up for you. Great people. If you are traveling through Galax, put the Galax Smokehouse on your to do list.

For the absolute best BBQ anywhere, you just have to make the trip to Galax, VA. This place rocks!! Their food is competition style served every day. For dessert, don't forget to try their award winning banana pudding. It was featured in the Southern Living magazine.

If you like BBQ, this is the place to stop. They make their own sauces, (3) to choose from; service was great, you get large portions and won't leave hungry; but for those that still has room they also have homemade desserts.
