Provided by YPmobileWe used Colonial Restoration to restore our kitchen table. Dave Hawksford and his son, Jarrod, welcomed us into their workshop when we requested to see finishes and spent time chatting with us and answering questions. I highly recommend Colonial Restorations!

Provided by YP.comWonderful wood pieces keep drifting my way. Many need a little tender care. Fortunately I found Dave Hawksford at Colonial Restoration. He has refinished, re-glued, and re-crafted pieces for me and given them new life. His son Jerrod will even pick up and deliver. They are great people to know!

Provided by YP.comAfter my parents passed away I was in search of someone that could restore several different pieces of furniture, each with great sentimental value. I was lucky enough to find Colonial Restoration - both David and his son Jarrod have been incredible. They treat each piece as it is a true treasure just waiting to be renewed, they always educate me about its particular history from a design/materials standpoint and breathe new life into each piece. I am eternally grateful for the work they do!

I have had several pieces, of all types refinished and have been astonished at the results. I have had a dining room suite that has passed down to me from my grandmother refinished, they made it look like it did when I was a little girl.
I had a desk refinished for my husband, that was given to him by his father, that had a leather inlay top with gold filigree that had worn away and was stained, a broken drawer, and had water damage as well, EVERYTHING was done to better than new status and my husband was beyond pleased, (which is very hard to do!!)
Their work is exceptional and their customer service, makes you feel like one of the family, they treat every piece like it is going in their home. There is no one better in the DC metro area.

They did a terrific job; the furniture looks great and their prices were very fair. Since, then, we've had several other pieces redone. Dave and his guys are masters of their art. C.
