2/10/2015: I, unfortunately, have had a very bad experience with Southern Maryland in Gainesville, VA. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. On Thursday they came to fix the heat. Friday night it broke. Saturday they told me they would come first thing on Monday morning to replace a part. Monday – no show, no call, they said a part was ordered and they would be at my house on Tuesday afternoon to install it. Tuesday – no show, no call, they said they would be at my house on Wednesday. This means 2/3’s of my house hasn’t had any heat and it’s February. This, and the lousy customer service, is unacceptable and disrespectful. On each phone call I chatted with a different person who told me the previous one shouldn’t have said what they did. I’m not sure who to believe any more. And unfortunately, they are the contractor who installed the HVAC system in my new house (1.5 years old).
