Let me start by saying that they put a roof on my house in 1989. The decking was still intact, there were no leaks and alk the rafters were intact. After 27 years, I just figured that I was way over do. The new roof looks great. The craftmanship and attention to detail is obvious. The job details were thoroughly discussed ahead of time and included decking options and cost. The only surprise was that my bill was less than quoted. Also offered was wind mitigation analysis which should help with insurance cost. If you need roofing call Mr. Osteen, I think you'll be pleased with the results

I would highly recommend use of Mr Roofer Of Gainesville, Inc., operated by Jerry D. Osteen. I have a number of rental houses and have used Mr Roofer for some 20 plus years. During that time, I have had Mr Roofer install new roofs on more than 20 occasions. Some carpentry work is commonly required for rotted areas, especially at the eaves, but further, I have had circumstances where "scabbing" onto the trusses was required to correct dips/flaws in the roofs. I do go on each roof to inspect the completed work before payment is made. I do also periodically obtain second bids as homework to confirm competitive pricing.



From my experiences over the years, I know that Mr. Osteen is very reliable in keeping appointments and in timely performing the contracted work. The quality of his work for shingles and modified roofing is excellent. His personnel performing the work have not damaged the landscaping and clean up well after completing their work. His prices are competitive and I cannot recall any unfortunate "surprises" in the final billings. I have especially appreciated the multiple times that Mr. Osteen has advised me that only a repair was needed at the present time (not a new roof) and that he would perform the repair at a quoted reasonable price. I feel very comfortable that you also will be quite pleased with your use of Mr Roofer

We have used Mr. Roofer of Gainesville for everything from roof repairs to complete re-roof jobs on our rental properties for years. We recently combined re-roofing with an installation of an AC system and an electrical service upgrade in a house originally built in the late 50s. This would not have been possible without the fantastic cooperation from the folks at Mr. Roofer. They made a special trip to the site to cut access holes for the other contractors and managed to keep the entire house dry while those access holes were used during some of the wettest weather we have experienced in many years. The roof itself was done quickly and professionally. Several areas required carpentry repairs before the roof could be completed. These were done with both aesthetic and economic considerations in mind, always deferring to our preferences. There's a reason Mr. Roofer has been doing business in the area for so many years. They show up when they say they'll be there, they do good work, at a reasonable price. I know that the job they did for me was much harder than expected, yet they maintained their original estimate and completed the job very professionally.
