I have been going to this salon since 2011 and my first visits were good but through time and most recently being about 5 times this year, I have been extremely disappointed and don't plan to return.

My past 5 visits seemed like they were very dirty with the tanning rooms very dark and dingy. They did not recommend all but 2 beds which had newer bulbs. The stand up that I used seemed like absolutely no color after a good amount of time. The room was dark and I couldn't even see to put on my lotion. The next time after telling them they gave me a lay down bed and the room had no lights but a little light high above in the adjoining room. The fans were filthy with so much dirt that I didn't want to turn it on. When I asked why no lighting she said it added to the ambiance. Every part of the salon was dirty and a big difference from my first visits.

I had teeth whitening and did not see a difference.

Also, I was so overcharged for tax. I bought eye shields that were $5 and I was charged a $1 tax. I bought a sample size of tanning lotion and paid $3 and was charged a dollar for tax. I was charged $10 and $8 for tanning and $1 each for tax. I asked her what percentage for tax was she charging and she said she didn't know but it was higher than regular tax...

They are close to my home but I will not be returning.

Unless you are blind and lousy at math I don't suggest you go there. It's dirty and dingy and they are not honest with their charges. In fact I think it's illegal to charge that kind of tax and not pay it to the state...which I am sure they know what the state charges when they are paying that bill.

The woman that helped me each time is there daily and I believe is one of the owners.

I also question why are they writing their own reviews???

Very upsale and clean spa! They have so many options for the everyday woman, and man! The staff is very friendly and all the services are done professionally and with care. They have UV and UV-free tans, i love having both options! Going into LAE is like getting an entire spa day: tanning, facial, waxing, etc! Plus they offer medical weight loss as well, with vitamin B shots I have so much more energy! Call LAE today!
