I had the WORST experience with the office staff here regarding my insurance. I went to see Dr. Adu for depression and anxiety, I had NEVER before had any treatment for mental health. My insurance company requested information from the doctor regarding his notes so they could verify that I do not have a pre-existing condition. The doctors office failed to provide my insurance company with the information they requested, therefore, the insurance company held payment until they received the info from the doctor.



The office called last week to confirm my next appointment and did not mention that the insurance company had not paid them. I took time off of work and drove ALL the way over to there and the office manger, who also happens to be Dr. Adu's wife, was very rude to me, treated me like trash, and told me that I owed $250 and could not be seen until I paid it. After I contacted my insurance company I found out they hadn't been paid because the office FAILED to do what they were supposed to.
