Being familiar with electronics, I had suspicions on what was causing the wife’s older Viking Designer1 machine to work for a few minutes and then shut off. Turn the machine off for a few hours, turn it back on and it would work and shut off. Since I could not find any schematics for the machine, I took it to Aaron’s Sew and Vac.
Dropped the machine off at 2:00pm and call a call to pickup at 4:15pm on the same day. The repairman told me that a capacitor had blown in the power pack and charged me a very reasonable price for a replacement part (albeit it was cannibalized from another machine). He even returned the removed part to me to try and fix.
Very honest, fast service, and fair price for my repair. Also very friendly service.
Highly recommend Aaron’s Sew and Vac.
