Stay far away from Phil and his crew. I bought a home that Phil had installed a covered breezeway for the previous owner. Well as it turns out when Texas Windstorm inspected it back in 2000 while it was being built, the structure and foundation failed. He never fixed it and so now I have to if I want insurance on it. What kind of person builds something, fails inspection, and then just covers it up? He could of easily fixed it while it was being built. Phil in my book your a crook!!!! Now I have to bring in my own engineer and pay out of my pocket to resolve this. I have to open the structure up so the engineer can look at. Phil could'nt have even sized the run of the rafters properly. There are easy rafter calculations that most capenters have access to. Phil you know the job I'm talking about. I feel sorry for the people that he has done work for and do not know. For those of you considering him, find someone else. The engineer with Texas Windstorm who failed it back in 2000 still remembers the job and how messed up it was. AFTER TEN YEARS? If that does not open your eyes up well, good luck.
