**!!! SCAM ALERT !!!**

We have been very patient with Micheal from TRU furniture but enough is enough. My mother was told that for $2,500 dollars, we would get a custom couch, an ottoman, a rug, an end table, and a lamp. She gave him the amount requested *in full* and waited for what was supposed to be her dream living room.

What we received could not be further from the truth. Our couch was nothing like we had designed--the cushions too short, the color wrong--Overall, it looks like a lump of potatoes. The rug, end table, and ottoman never arrived, the lamp looked as though it was picked up from a garage sale. We were, safe to say, very disappointed.

We asked for our money back, he claimed he couldn't do that.

Micheal said he would make it right, that if we came down to the studio and designed something together, he would fix the issue. We came down bright and early to plan it out (He was 30 minutes late to unlock his own store.) and pick out different fabric swatches and legs and whatnot. He made it seem as though it was a genuine mix-up and that he was going to personally oversee the design process. When we scheduled a time to go measure the room that we wanted the furniture for, we got a call saying that his brother would be the one joining us, not Micheal.

We again asked for our money back, he said no.

Today, we were supposed to have our new living room delivered. I am writing this right now because when my mother asked what time they would be delivering the furniture, Micheal replied that she was "harassing him" and that he would not be bringing us our promised items. He also said that we should "take him to court." which we will be doing soon.

I am hoping that by posting this, someone will heed my warning and not do business with TRU furniture as they have caused our family so much grief. Please please please do not deal with these people.
