My favorite store in town is The Consignment Emporium!!! The products are mostly high end and for a great price. The store is clean and well organized and so r the employees. Gave , the manager is a sweetheart and sooo helpful. He never pushes me to purchase just gives good information on items. I have sold items there also and treated with respect and good business moxxy!!!

Go to this store before any other consignment store. You will NOT be disappointed!!! Gudo Hallstone

This place is great with frie...

This place is great with friendly and helpful staff. They constantly have new items and they change the displays often to feature new or different items and show case different styles. It is like a new store every time I go in. It is so simple to consign there. As per the contract, pick up a check for items sold after the end of the month and when the contract is up, I get a phone call when my unsold items (if any) are pulled and ready for pick-up. Nothing is guaranteed to sell, but I am too busy to mess with Craig’s list and why do a yard sale when everyone wants something for nothing. This place is a blessing.

First impressions of the store...

First impressions of the store was great - Jill was helpful, if a little harried, and happy to take my items for consignment. Seemed fairly knowledgable about the items I brought in and had good advice in the pricing of the items. Over the next month or so I checked in and found several things to buy myself, but my items did not move in the first month. A couple things sold in the second month, but I did not receive notification. I checked back during third month, where they told me several things had sold, but I would have to wait for the end of the month to pick up the check. By the end of that month my 3 month agreement with them was up, but I had not received a call to pick up my stuff as promised in the contract. I went in to pick up the check and find out about the rest of my items, and this is when trouble began. Of the twelve items I had left with them, they had a check for me for three of the items, had two items on the floor still, and had lost/misplaced the other 7 items. Jill was there that day and was concerned about the missing items. I watched her go through a storage closet, a set of shelves behind the intake desk, and even a big back room, but the items were not found. She was sure that someone had probably started pulling items, and assured me that she would talk to them and find the missing items. I said I would be back in a week or so to pick up my items. I called two days before I went in so they would have time to get things ready for pickup. When I got there, they had found 4 items, but were still missing 3 items($50 worth). Jill was there again, but deferred to another woman (Serena ?). Although she was "sure the items were around somewhere" and told me repeatedly that things sometimes turn up a year later, having just been misplaced somewhere, she was unwilling to look more than in just one bag in the storage cupboard. I had brought my book so I could wait while they looked, but they had no desire to do so. I asked for them to pay me for my half, since clearly the plan was to find them later, sell them, and have not have to share the profit with me. At that point, the woman I was speaking to decided they were stolen, and I had signed a contract saying they were not responsible for "theft, breakage, or damage." And in fact one of the other plates that I gave them in good condition they returned to me chipped, But this damage they notated. The missing items were not reported to me as broken. No police report was filed to indicate any theft - ( and really, someone walked out with 6 large pieces of HEAVY glassware, and no one noticed??? really??) When I brought this up, they agreed that yes they were probably just lost, but they had no desire to look for them. Instead they returned to a conversation about how they had accidentally sold one woman's lamp at too low a price - confusing it with another woman's lamp. I left the store exceedingly disappointed, as until that time I was really enjoying my experiences with the store. Now, knowing they are potentially defrauding sellers I am feeling guilty to even shop there. Of course I would not sell there any more. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
