As a result of heavy rainfall at our home on McCall Avenue, Clovis, CA, we had a septic tank backup into the showers/bathtubs and one floor. Thanks to the neighbor across from us, we identified a company they had used, Sequoia Pumping/Strickland Drilling. Once contacted Mr. Strickland indicated they were servicing other customers and it would not be until the next day, Saturday. He offered the name and number of another company who was able to come out and temporarily alleviate our back up issue through a “clean out”. A Sequoia Pumping/Strickland Drilling representative arrived on Sunday and spent about three hours identifying the location of the septic system access. On Monday, the company truck arrived and began pumping on the septic system itself. The pumping provisionally relieved our predicament. Mr. Strickland related that the heavy amount of rain disallowed the leach field from absorbing the water to completely support our septic system.
Sequoia Pumping/Strickland Drilling is a 3rd generation company (since the late 1950’s) and it obvious why they remain in business, they are a professional, honest, straightforward company with a goal of responsibly serving their customers. Professionalism, Reliability and Integrity are tenuous in certain business areas, but we certainly found and experienced all three and more with Sequoia Pumping.
