we were craving for mexican food yesterday so we chose Sal's but it was a big disappoitment first of all I havent seen a mexican restaurant that doesnt have horchata!! (I guess sals is the first one!..) then I order a michelada......in my opnion they really need an intensive classes of how to do drinks... it was horrible.. it not all yet I wanted some carne asada so I ordered but not good meat was so dried, the only things good was the green bell pepper, salsa does not taste like original .. taste more like tositos salsa,I my opinion the are beeing in business for many years according to their saying but.. it sad they never learn how to cook the real mexican flavor. im new to the fresno area so we are trying different restaurant in the area and the only one that I could say has that mexican flavor is taqueria tijuana. best mexican food and best michelada so far.. would go and spend there again? NO! .. its like eating real mexican tacos at del taco!.

My family and I were at Sal's on Cinco de Mayo it was over loaded with people. Yet we had a fantastic server who entertained us by the name of Carmen. We want to Thank Carmen for the avocado dip and her wonderful personality. We will be coming back to visit you girl.

I got to say the burritos are superb! Worth the trip.

Sal's has great tasting Mexican food at a very reasonable price. The combination plates there are wonderful, as well as the chips and salsa. My favorite place to eat in Fresno.
