Glacier Point is a very tough school. That being said, does not make it a bad school. I think the principal and staff are available, visible and know of the issues they are dealing with. I believe the principal is proactive. Instead of parents wanting a "hey raise my kid for me", maybe they should commit to spending some time weekly at their child's school. Studies have proven that when parents play an active part in their child's education, children are more likely to be successful. Central mission is to prepare college, career and community students and I believe that is what they are doing. Changes do not happen overnight. It takes a village to raise a child.

Within the first few months of opening, some kids were already bringing in Drugs and weapons. As a parent, I expect the pricipal to do something about this. but he hasnt.
