Upon signing up here through Will my decision to sign paperwork rested on the question of can I kick and punch the two bags Gold's has. Will stated yes and showed me the bags. I signed up. After a few days I was told I can no longer kick the bag upstairs only punch, and that I would have to move down to the other bag that was for kicking. Several months went by on the other bag and I was approached by a very ignorant manager who told me I can not kick the bag anymore. I attempted to cancel my contract and that was denied. Staff there is unprofessional, disrespectful, and ignorant. Some of who are on mind altering enhancement chemicals to boost muscle production. The people staff let's in are mean, rude, and ignorant as well as I never had the opportunity to carry on one descent conversation with anyone. Everyone time I entered I was addressed as man by staff signing me in. Keep in mind I am an honorably discharged veteran from the Infantry and this is the professionalism/courtesy staff shows to me as a customer or patron. The list can go on and on. A for your info is if you feel like you have been taken advantage of call the Virginia State Comission and get the registered agents name and address to serve him with civil papers. I am working on that now but this franchise is good at hiding this info. An indication that they are not honorable nor respectable. Anyways I am going to blog at other places to hit their Google rating. Also, there is a thing called cost per click. Every time you click on Golds Gym through Google there is a charge this company has to pay. Just keep clicking the link to cost them more money lol.

I have been charged twice from two different gold's gym franchises for 7 months. The woman in charge or who I was speaking to refused to cancel my membership and threatened to charge me for an additional month if she didn't receive my written request to cancel. Under the advice of Gold's Gym (Fredricksburg) I was told to fax a copy of my new contract to them and everything would be cancelled. After this was done I was told by another representative that I could get a refund for being charged by Gold's Gym (Fredricksburg) for being back charged for 7 months. Upon my request for a refund the representative (a different woman) told me that I wasn't going to get a refund and that it was my fault for the back charges because I failed to provide a copy of my written request to cancel the membership. I was told that my request was sent to Gold's Gym (Fredricksburg) over 6 months ago and they have still managed to bungle this affair up. Has anyone ever heard of the service provider going out of their way to satisfy a CUSTOMER? I hope that this message reaches a concerned/potential Gold's Gym (Fredricksburg) customer.
