To Whom It May Concern:



My sons and I are new to the area and were finally able to find a pool yesterday to try and enjoy. We arrived at 3:50pm and paid $28.00 for myself and my 4 boys. No one at the front counter advised us when we paid that it was adult swim only, so my sons lost 10-15 minutes of swim time from the beginning. At about 25 after 4 we were instructed to exit the water do to thunder/lightening in the area. I asked for a refund and was instructed to read a small, handwritten sign hanging well below eye level. We haven't been in the area long and certainly haven't been to the pools in the area to know the standard operating procedures. We signed in when we got there so the attendant could see I wasn't lying and as a single mother I can't just afford to throw money away. I thought I was going out for a relaxing afternoon with my children and instead all I was left feeling like was I got scammed by the Edward P Thomas Memorial Pool, how very disappointing!!!!!
