The woman that is always on the front desk is fun, and always happy. The service was good. In terms of the food, the shrimp with broccoli, that I have yesterday, the beef with Broccoli, and the Seafood delight is always the best.

I've had better Chinese food, but this is the best I've had in the Frederick area. Pretty good for a take out place.

Wish I Never Wasted My Time or Money

Absolutely terrible! The only thing they didn't screw up was the white rice. 0) Sweet & Sour Chicken - they were out of it. WTF. Should probably have known better than to order. 1) Wonton soup - soup broth was thin, watery; wontons themselves had oddly flavored filling, and a thick bland wonton wrap. 2) Egg drop soup - disgusting overly-sesame-flavored broth the consistency of warm watery jello. 3) Steamed dumplings - inedible (took one bite and spit it out), but tasted a mix of pork/poultry with too much ginger. 4) Chicken & Broccoli - sauce and broccoli was excellent, chicken was the consistency of rubber bands. 5) Hunan shrimp - sauce was pretty good, but the vegetables and shrimp tasted frozen. 6) Crispy noodles - not homemade, from a bag. Note: I'm not a picky eater, and I *hate* to waste food. I'll eat almost anything, but threw out most of the food.

I am the business owner of Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, and I am fight you for my business reputation and do doubt about your intention of writting such a review and you moral! First, every meal on sale can be tracked through the restaurant's system, dare you stand out and involve in such dispute you claim? Second, we in business since 1998 and have multi locations, we honor customer comments and guarrantee customer satisfaction. 0).I can hardly remember any day we sold out sweet sour chicken, that only mean that dish is so popular, isn't it? 1).Isn't wonton soup thin and watery, and in my restaurant we only use thin wonton wrapper made by tungyung noodle specialist at Baltimore. 2).About egg drop soup, we do put in sesame oil for fragance, but is this making it disgusting? And after it cool down, jello looking is possible. I leave the debate because you not give enough information. 3). Steamed dumpling we maked only with pork, how can you get a chicken flavor, that is you poblem likely. And sure ginger is not you flavor, either. But i know some customer don't get enough of the spice and we do sale 50 plus order dumplings. 4).Rubber band chicken and excellent broccoli, unlogicly but possiblly. 5).You who Naunetkiya, do you know any commom knownledge about food serve----hot food hot, cold food cold. How can you taste the shrimp and veggitable frozen or if you serve you hot food cold? 6).Cripy noodle not homemade, from a bag? How you get that? Another wise guess or you know the procedure or you did evidence personally? Unmatch, you didn't get it right, we home made it! Note: I'm not a picky eater, and I *hate* to waste food. I'll eat almost anything, but threw out most of the food. I am so sorry for you experiences but that is un-understandable, you didn't file complain insteaded you set up such a negative review agaist the business, what is your clear purpose? To whom occasionally write this, please be honest and tell the true. We live on the restaurant business, and rather to improve than fail, please positively help us to grow, comments and suggests are welcome. To whom have read this review and have different opion, please drop couple line to encourge, to support us. Thanks.
