I come in here a couple times a month. I usually go because I am visiting the restaurant next door and they don't have wine. This guy (the short Asian one) has such a great selection and the best prices in town. There are usually 2 people working in addition to who is at the register and they all know their stuff. I can ask any question from beer to wine to bourbon and they always know what is going on and exactly what they have in stock and where it is. People who are afraid of African Americans and the projects should go somewhere else and pay top price for white bread service. (PS written by a 40 y.o. white woman).

I walked into to this place, picked out what I wanted and went to stand in line.

While I was waiting one of the regulars walked in (an African American man most likely from the nearby projects) to buy a small bottle of liquor...the clerk waved him ahead of me and made me wait. The manager, a short Asian man, was standing at the front of the store and observed the whole thing and said nothing. I walked out without buying the item. Last time I make a purchase at this "business".
