We recently went to the Buckhorn Tavern on 27th and Ryan Rd and had fish fries. It was the best fish fry I have had in years. I can't believe I had never been there. And the price was outrageously only $10 and a lot of food. You get 3 good sized pieces of fish or you could have 2 pieces of fish and 5 shrimp, really good seasoned fries and potato pancakes, 2 slices of rye bread and applesause. The waitress was very nice. It's an old building, I thought it was cute but if you are looking for a fancy place this is not it. But to me the food counts more than looks. I totally recommend. This is the first time I ever gave a review on anything.
