I have had both Lyn and Kerrilyn take care of my parents for about 5 years now. My Dad past away (91) last year and Lyn was great. He had advanced dementia and she was always caring and attentive. My Mom is now 95 and Kerrilyn takes care of her and she is awesome, calls to discuss things and doesn't mind my input. The fact they come to the patient has been a great help. You still have to be your parents advocate regardless of who the doctor is but I would rather have Visiting Practitioners than a regular doctor. When one is needed there is no hesitation.

Dr. Lyn O'Brien is not a medical doctor (MD), and it shows. She was my mother's doctor [I use that term loosely} for awhile. She put her on a Black Box labeled anti-psychotic that had her slurring her words and falling down the stairs. She is rude and blames caregivers. Plus, I found it unnerving that doctors at local hospitals confided that she is a "joke." I suspect she has some people fooled. But when "real doctors" have no respect for her, you got to wonder. Keep looking, and don't be fooled by her salesperson tactics to get you as a client.
