The average "Quick-Cut" - yo...

The average "Quick-Cut" - you can find this barbershop by the old 1950's car setting out in front with "wrens barbershop" written on the side - groovy. i walked in and with 2 guys barbering there was no waiting, and the younger barber directed me into his chair. i needed a neat trim-up, and he seemed to listen to how i wanted it cut, and he talked about how he takes pride in his haircuts. he put a cape around me and wet my hair down with a water spray, then started cutting, trimming and combing. after about 6-7 min., he took an electric razor and trimmed up the back of my neck, but it ended up with an uneven neckline in places and not that sharp groomed look. the blocked neck would probably look more even and groomed if shaving cream and a razor was used, like many other barbershops do. he finished me off with spraying some clubman hair tonic on it to get it looking neat, and the hair tonic left my hair smelling good for the next few days - groovy! he combed it some more to get it neat , but hair on the back sides was sticking out due to him cutting it too short there - he sprayed some more hair grooming stuff on it, and it then stayed in place in the barbershop, but about 30 min later it was messed up again. that part will need to grow out some to look right again. i was in the barberchair about 10 - 12 min, the cost was $12 and convenient parking in front of shop. if you want a quick cut at a reasonable price, you might give wren's a try.
