Kentucky Military History Museum is in the 1850 castle-like Old State Arsenal. Displays in the museum depict the roles played by the Kentucky militia, the state guard and other military organizations from the Revolutionary War period through Desert Storm. Exhibits include artillery, uniforms, flags and weapons, including a collection of automatic arms and Kentucky rifles. Guided tours are available and can be scheduled at the Thomas D.
