They gave away our honeymoon suite. We got married August 31st 2013, my husband had booked the honeymoon suite 7 months in advance as a surprise for me. Our surprise was showing up after our reception and them GIVING AWAY OUR HONEYMOON SUITE!!! With absolutely NO remorse for what they had done. And the kicker was my husband talked to them on the way to the reception around 6pm. by 8 pm it was up for grabs. And the only reason we knew this was because Bavarian Inn also messed up our best man's stay, leaving him with no room to stay in and having to drive 30 min away to closest free hotel room. When he called and they said they had no reservation for them and the only available room was the honeymoon suite, but it was too expensive for them and they decided to stay elsewhere. That was at 8pm.

Had we known they were giving our room away two hours after speaking with them we would have called. But we were kind of in the middle of our wedding reception.

We can NEVER get that night back. We had to stay in a trucker stop in the next town over, because given that is was a tourist town, on a holiday weekend, there was not one free room in the entire town. What was a little more upsetting was that we decided to wait to go on a honeymoon and this was supposed to be a special evening in a special room in a town we once loved and couldn't wait to celebrate our big day there. I feel because of this incident the thought of Frankenmuth Mi makes me sick. If this is the way these hotels are, I will never ever recommend them and I will make as many reviews on as many websites I can find so the word gets out. They should no get away with this behavior.

To top it all off, not only did they have zero remorse, they didn't even offer to give us a complimentary night some other time or food or anything!! How do you screw up a couples honeymoon and not even feel the need to TRY to make it up to them. I was going to spare this review had they done something...Actually ANYTHING!!! But they chose to leave an unhappy newlywed couple, whose only wedding night in their life was completely ruined, unhappy. To any couple even thinking of booking a honeymoon suite here or anything to do with your wedding, I would strongly suggest you choose somewhere else. If they did this to us, they will do it to you too.

The dining experience is very ...

The dining experience is very much like we experienced when visiting Luxembourg a few years ago. The "family style" of bringing the sides to the table in separate dishes so everyone can take as much or as little as they want is awesome. The tastes are authentic and I especially like the free birthday meal I get every year. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Great Food

The Bavarian Inn restaurant was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the chicken was the best I have ever had.
