i would not take my dogs anywhere but southern hound. my dogs are given care by people who care. The facility is cleaner than most homes and my dogs are treated individually according to their needs. take a tour a see for yourself

My parents left their Chinese-crested powder puff (you know...the ugliest dog contest winner) at this Kennel while they traveled this past winter. they had never left their dog with anyone so they asked me to check on him mid-week. I was SO impressed. They have a really nice fenced back yard with a fake fire hydrant and a shaded porch. There are two sections divided by an office with double gated access so no one runs out the door. One side is for the big guys and the other is for the little guys. The place was in great condition, super clean, smelled like bleach when I walked it, the lady that owns it made special time to meet me and showed me around behind the scenes which MY kennel in Five Forks would NOT let me do. Max was super happy in his kennel when we showed up. He got happy when he saw the lady which made me feel good. She genuinely seemed to care for the dog like it was her own. I am writing this review because I was looking up their info so I could book a stay with them for my dog.
