Amenities
Connie Cleveland founded the Dog Trainers Workshop in 1990, based on more than 20 years of dog training experience. Connie currently see 150 owners with their dogs each week in the obedience class program, teaching them how to have a better behaved pet, and coaching many to perform in obedience competitions. Using a balanced approach of motivation and correction, hundreds of students have earned obedience titles. Our title winning students are presented on our Title Winning Students page. Connie's own obedience experiences include seven Obedience Trial Champions, a UDT Maltese as well as a CDX Shih tzu and Miniature Pincher. She currently shares her home with two Golden Retrievers, a Labrador Retriever, and a Shih tzu. Connie is active in obedience and field trial competitions. Connie Cleveland is much in demand as seminar instructor throughout the United States and have traveled to South America and Japan to share her expertise with other training groups. She enjoys helping owners understand that dog training can make sense. Dogs can be required to work, problems can be solved, and obedience training can be fun for everybody (you and your dog) without sacrificing quality of performance.
