I'm originally from Ontario, Canada and studied neuroscience at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Being passionate about dentistry, however, meant getting the best education possible. That meant NYU's world-renowned College of Dentistry. I graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2006. At NYU, I also studied at the Larry Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry. It is the nations first comprehensive program in an academic dental center to train dentists in the burgeoning field of aesthetic dentistry. While attending NYU, I treated many patients while working the university's dental clinic, including many patients with complex medical histories. I received the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for providing superior performance in comprehensive oral care. My class at NYU was the first class to have university-based instruction on Invisalign, and beginning in 2009, I have also been an Invisalign Preferred Provider. I also hold Basic and Advanced Life Support certifications, and I am a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and past member of the Eco-Dentistry Association. Although I gained a great deal of experience from working at NYU's dental clinic during school, upon graduation, I worked for two other dentists in Hoboken, NJ. The experience I gained from their mentoring and watching the evolution of their practices really influenced the way I approach providing the best care and addressing the real interests of my patients. I founded my own private practice, Parkview Dental of Westfield, in 2011. At my practice, I utilized the latest technologies and proven techniques to provide cutting-edge but conservative dental care for my patients. Although my practice grew rapidly, my parents, brother and sister all live in the Fountain Hills area, so with my second child on the way, it made sense to move here in 2013.
