Provided by YP.comI only have a 1 because I had to. My daughter was on the competition team, she was molested and the coach is currently sitting in jail awaiting trial. He’s been charged with 3 counts of aggravated sexual assault on a Minor and continuous sexual assault. Pauline has done nothing, never even checked on the girls or given me refund for competitions already paid. Then another coach was have a sexual relationship with one of the middle school girls that was attending there as well. KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Provided by SuperpagesMy kids love their classes and I love the safe and cautious environment. Because it is a non-profit, the gym is not a multi-million dollar facility like commercial gyms. But what it lacks in glamour it more than makes up for with the world class coaching staff that includes Olympians, World Championship finalists, NCAA college coaches and more! Rates are more than reasonable, too.

Provided by YP.comI am very impressed with the way this gym is run. Safety and the children are the priority. Pauline is an excellent manager and really knows what she is doing. She has significant background in gymnastics and wants the best for the gymnasts and expects everyone to obey the rules.

Provided by YP.comThis is a great place for serious gymnasts. The coaches are very good and they always give positive feedback. My daughter learns more here than she has at other gyms. However, the owner/manager is rude to the parents. I haven't noticed her being rude to the gymnasts. Pauline is not approachable and gets very annoyed if you dare ask her a question.

Provided by YP.comThis is a place for the serious gymnast though they have summer camps and other fun activities. This is not a gym that teaches your child a song to sing while looking at butterflies painted on the walls during a forward roll. I love it here because I can be involved as a parent by supporting others as a team rather than cheering on only my child. This is an excellent gym with wonderful, trustworthy coaches!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter and her best friend participated in the Gym n Swim Summer Camp in June 2012. They had a blast. They completed beginners gymnastics at another facility and learned some intermediate (Level 2) movements during the camp. They had fun playing on water slide and game time but would have preferred more gymnastics. They had fun at Burgers Lake. My daughter really liked the coaches so much that we are considering switching to this facility in the Fall.

Provided by YP.comSummer "gymnastics" camp is over rated. Gymnastics activities were not even one third of the daily camp activities. It should be called plain summer camp if out of the 8 hours camp only maybe 1 would be spent in actual gymnastics practice.
The Gym 'n Swim Camps do gymnastics every day. The campers are taught by licensed gymnastics coaches and are ability grouped so the beginners aren't overwhelmed by the more experience gymnasts who attend camp. Our instructors are skilled at making games out of learning the basics so the campers have a lot of fun while they learn. Our camps are licensed through the Texas Dept of Health Youth Camp Licensing. The kids do a half day of gymnastics and are allowed to be kids and play the other half day, except for Fridays when they spend the day at beautiful Burgers Lake.

Provided by SuperpagesGood instructors but super POOR management. They raise the prices even when you have a contract. You pay $90 for membership then have to pay monthly - they consistently raise rates without notice and do not refund membership if you don't want to pay the higher rate.
