BY FAR THE WORST H/C I'VE EVER HAD! This location had a couple of stylist who weren't as bad as the nightmare I endured at their St Joe Ctr Rd Location, but then that's not saying much either. What's worse you ask? Return visits to "fix" or find a new "stylist" who is competent. I was foolish enough to go back & let them do it again, on a few occasions so I can give you an HONEST OPINION. Their District Mgr may be their ONLY redeeming quality.. Kind, professional & understanding, or at least that's what I told myself to justify going back for the free H/C's offered to me & with each visit it's a roll of the dice, but the last visit was also the last straw. Uneven, my neck left untrimmed, choppy & topping it off, the "fade" the "stylist" (I use this term VERY LOOSELY) gave me was more like a "high & tight" military cut from the 60's. Barring a full head shave or pet grooming services, I recommend you go anywhere but here. Not all, but MOST were terrible experiences, largely due to incompetence, but also it's clear these "stylists" weren't AND aren't (CURRENTLY) being trained on how to cut hair, or better yet, fix mistakes I brought to their attention. I wouldn't accept a lifetime of free H/C's from Great Clips at ANY location & I've visited 3 over a few months. Why put yourself through this? How many times can you honestly tell yourself, "well, it'll grow back", then go for another slice & dice?! Come on Great Clips! Get real. In this economy everyone matters, & there's no excuse for what I went through. Clearly there's no effort to retrain these "stylists" (that's actually laughable considering my experiences) to learn how to follow simple instructions. THE POSITIVE.. 2 calls/emails to their corporate offices were met with prompt follow-up calls from their DM (she was their ONLY redeeming quality) where as evidenced by my returning visits, I would give them another chance again & again, only to be met with inconsistency & more incompetent, untrained stylists. What the DM didn't do & probably should have was retrain as a group or individually their whole staff at all the Northeast FW locations. As it stands, I'll not only never go back but I've turned family & friends away because there is simply no punishment worth enduring another "GREAT CLIPS" H/C Experience. To anyone considering them, for the same money & often less, just drive a little farther, or wait for an appointment at a real Barbershop. What you lose in convenience you'll gain in a clean H/C from a professional, experienced & trained barber. More importantly you'll get what you ask for from someone that takes pride in their work. I recommend St. Joe Barbershop (corner of St. Joe & Maplecrest.. Ask for Joe, he's been cutting my hair ever since & after 2 visits I no longer have to explain a thing. What a difference turning right instead of left has made, & I gave Great Clips plenty of chances, so I feel strongly that this is an honest, unbiased opinion!
