Boyd Metals, founded in 1991, is a full-line steel service center. The company offers an extensive inventory of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and fiberglass products in a wide range of shapes and sizes. It also offers services, such as custom sawing, shearing, flame cutting, plasma cutting, and bar polishing. Boyd Metals maintains its own fleet of trucks and trailers to serve its customers in the five state area of Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. It has more than 90 employees, and maintains three stocking warehouse and sales office locations in Joplin, Mo., Oklahoma City, and is headquartered in Fort Smith, Ark.
