I went to Tech Tronics in Fort Myers to purchase speakers for my work as a DJ. I bought a pair of Yorkville 750s approximately 1 year ago. Within a year both popped - there was a noticeable buzzing sound when played at normal volume at certain low frequencies. This was apparently a bad run as other DJs I spoke to didn't experience this issue with these speakers. The manager at Tech Tronics was nevertheless incredibly difficult in getting the problem resolved. They failed to disclose their "company policy" to charge a $60 "handling fee" for simply taking a speaker out of the box when returned from the manufacturer. One individual in particular was so insistent that there was no problem at all he spent some time suggesting I do nothing, denying the problem, and then stating that the manufacturer didn't cover shipping on returns. A concern when making a large purchase is always whether you can count on the merchant's support. I regret ever doing business with Tech Tronics.

No one in their area has lower rental prices for sound systems and dj equipment. Their rental equipment is not crappy (no peavey,jbl, ev,mackie, qsc) like everyone elses. The Yorkville speakers kicked a$$.
