When you see good reviews on this attorney! Know for a fact that it is someone he is paying out of delegation to post a review! Adriana is his ex girlfriend! Never a client of his! that is all public record! Terry Mccreary and his criminal staff are all a joke!!!!!! They take your money , make you believe they are working hard on your case and at the end discover he has actually done not one thing in your case. He will submit discovery the day before your trial to make it look like he worked on your case, but the pd office doesn't care about anything filed the day before trial! He will promise you a dismissal and promise you you're going to walk away free and then bam the day of trial he starts to go blank, he doesn't know what to say but " I know I know I'm really sorry but this is what it is" and make you plea because there is a very "slim chance" in winning at trial! Do not waist your money on this attorney! His own staff don't believe in him! Marlen his secretary went and hired another criminal attorney to help her cousin with his charges ! How embarrassing! Every bad review on here is 100% accurate! Every single person is a real client and it's all the same story! Terry Mccreary is a crook!

Hey Terry, this is Robin. This has been bothering me for months now and now that my daughters case is done with I can tell you what I think of you and your office. What a disappointment and waste of money! If it wasn't for the judge taking the case over from your hands things wouldn't have went well. If I had the money I would have left a long time ago. You are a horrible excuse for an attorney. Lies after lies. You promised you would be there for the injunction and you didn't, and then you said you would throw in my divorce case if I hired you to find out from your staff that you don't know how to do family law. And let's talk about your staff-rude, unprofessional and who threatened me on multiple occasions. But when you hire street trash like Marlen you will get trashy work as they say. I should have listened to my mom, from day one she said look how unprofessional she looks (hooker like) with her fake boobs hanging out of her shirt who can't even put two English words together! She said a lot of things in regards to your lawyer skills that I (other than you are not a trial attorney and I should take a plea because it wouldn't look good if I allowed YOU to take it to trial) that I decided not to tell you because I didn't want problems. Your own staff has no faith in you....says a lot about your lawyer skills. Numerous appointments that I had, and the office doors would be closed. Calls went unanswered and due to my frustration and my constant complaints you had to give me your cell phone which would go unanswered as well .Your staff is a reflection of you and that's not good. I will be going to the Florida bar with this in hopes no one will ever have to deal with what I had to with you and what you call your staff, what a joke! Maybe you don't know everything that goes on with your office and how they talk to your clients and threaten them for payment that isn't even due yet or just asking to speak to you I would be threatened. But guess what?, you are responsible for them and you are no better. This led me to looking your office up and Marlen! Wow but not surprising is all I can say. I had a right to know that my child was around a heroin dealer who tried to kill someone collecting money! So her threats didn't go lightly with me. And just to let you know, I did speak to other attorneys and boy did they have a lot to say about you and about your half dressed employee and about your "problem" and said how you look like a joke in the streets with her! Spoke to 4 attorneys actually who all knew about you and several complaints from clients and how no one in their right mind would hire someone like that...but you are not in your right mind. Did you know she said how embarrassing your sweating is? Or how you are a plea attorney, and warned me not to take it to trial Bc you would lose? Did you know Marlen told me if I knew any one that needs a lawyer to have them call her and she would give me money to help me out! I looked that up, and asked other lawyers-that's illegal and I have proof of it so she can't lie out of that one. So instead of going to chuck e. cheese where I saw you both...pathetic! She's married and her husbands doing 15 years for heroin right! Again, pathetic! Maybe you should invest your time working for your clients and hiring a new staff! And Marlen getting her teeth fixed along with English classes for her and Diana. More clothes and less eyeliner!!! Next time you hear from me it will be through the Bar. Tell Marlen and Diana that is not where they go to drink! Have a great New Year!!!
People: please do not hire this firm. I have never been so tormented in my life. They will take your money and abuse you and then when you realize how horrible they are it's too late. Save yourself from the headache, money lost, don't lose your freedom!

I was so lucky my son and I found this firm.He was looking at years in prison and then his lawyer Terry at this firm found him an alternative to prison program. The lawyer got him in and the court to approve it and he stayed out of jail. I can't say how happy I am for this law firm, they were exactly what we wanted. I can say that I'm really thankful.

I have read all the good and bad reviews about Terry McCreary and his staff good and bad reviews, but I'm going to talk about my experience and my friends and family experience with this Law Firm for the past 4 years. I have known Mr. McCreary for 4 years, I know his old and new staff, they have been a lot of help to me and my family and friend guiding us thru every step, really professional and always willing to help the clients resolve their problems. I have hired him for a couple cases traffic tickets, and drug charges, and all I can say is that Im really happy with the results, he fought for me in court regarding of my charges, he even got my felony charges to a misdemeanor. Its really hard to finding lawyers whom you can trust, its almost impossible. So if you are or have been in a situation where you really need a good lawyer then you know what I'm talking about. This is the only law office that has never tried to take advantage of me, so that's why I recommend all the people I know to them. They are solid, highly ethical, highly experienced. Definitely you should see him before you jump into any conclusions, sometimes people get mad because they don't get the results they want when they have done the same over and over. You should give Mr. McCreary and his new staff a try you won't be disappointed ....

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!If you want a good lawyer, do not hire this attorney or staff!!!! I am so upset at this law firm. All I can do now is warn others to not hire them. They promise you will be a priority and you aren't just so you can pay and promise your case will be dropped! Well I wasn't a priority and my case wasn't dropped!!! I would call and IF the staff answers they promise they will call you back with an update and they don't. They promise Terry will give me a call and he wouldn't. They can't even tell you anything but when your court date is. I'm upset because The other day I called and after begging for terry to call me or for his staff to give me an update I was told by the Marlen girl that nothing has been done on my case because terry is too busy handling big cases! So I told her I was upset and she says if I don't like it then I can go else where. Wow!!!! Well marlen, then you shouldn't have taken my money or took my case. Are you serious?! Very unprofessional but how can you expect her to be professional when she is who she is-look her up!!! I saw the pictures, disgusting! This firm is too busy posting pics on Facebook, getting Starbucks and running a day care not a law firm. I can't believe what I found out about marlen barrios! Explains why she doesn't know what she is doing-never calling me back with an update, Terry continuing out my case, and calls going unanswered. Is this a joke?!!!! I am now in the process of looking for another attorney because I'm not important enough. I was only important when I met him for the consultation and paid the retainer! Money wasted!!! They just take your money and you will never hear from them again!!! Go elsewhere!!!

I was not going to post a review but after I read the previous review I just had to say something. I am a business owner who is educated and hired this firm. I experienced the same thing. In the past 2 months this office has gone mad! They do not answer your calls and when they do I have experienced this Marlen girl to be very rude and doesn't know what she is doing or how to even speak. And the Diana girl is just as bad. I use to deal with the other girl Sanea that works there and she was on top of everything. I never needed to talk to Terry. But with these 2 I asked and asked and left voicemails and nothing. I ask for Sanea and they keep telling me she's on vacation. They never answer your calls but they call and demand money from me twice and I told them I paid in full but you can't let me speak with my lawyer. And they just say ok I will have him call you. My case just keeps getting continued. I want it done so I can finally move on with my life! I even went in 3 times and the office was closed. My last court date Terry wasn't even there some other attorney who said he has no clue about my case and was just covering. I finally gave up and hired another lawyer who told me he has signed up a lot of Terry's clients in the past weeks. I knew something was going on. I looked Marlen up and I am at lost for words but it explains a lot about Terry and this firm and why he hasn't done anything on my case. Obviously, hiring this person speaks a lot about Terry and it is not good. Things are adding up to me now. I didn't even bother asking for my money back, I ran as fast as I can. Please people do not hire this firm!!! Waste of money!!!! Did nothing of what he promised me!!!

Again, do not go to this firm. We had to go hire another law firm to help my sister. It's just really sad when you hire a firm and put your trust in them and they screw you over by taking your money and do nothing to help you. You might as well stick with the public defender and save your money. You can not understand how upsetting it was to find out that this new secretary is a criminal herself and was charged with these crimes and can't speak English. And to not call and let your client know they have court which caused my sister to get a bench warrant and now have to sit in jail is just sad. And to find out that marlen barrios brings her child to work and posts a picture up for everyone to see stating it was nap time at the mccreary law firm the day my sister should have been called. I will be taking this to the fl bar along with her pictures of her at Starbucks during work hours and her napping on the couch! No wonder they never answered the phone or were in the office...they must have turned the phones off and locked the doors because it was nap time! Don't want to wake up the baby. Or she was too busy getting off her high or selling her own product. Please look up this marlen barrios because this is a reflection of this firm. And if he is not smart enough to hire someone that is professional and has charges and allows her to post these pictures up for everyone to see then he is not smart enough to handle your case. Please do not hire them unless you need marlen for heroin or to kill someone for u or u want to lose your case and go to jail!

Hired this law firm for my sister. In the past month we have tried calling trying to get some type of update. But our calls would go unanswered. If they were answered a girl by the name of Marlen Barrios would answer and would take our number and say she would call us back with an update or have Terry McCreary call us! She was very rude, unprofessional and couldn't even speak English. We had to physically go in there. Many times the door was closed during work hours till finally met with this Marlen chic who was very rude and said we couldn't see Terry without an appointment. Well that's what we have been trying to do for a month! She was so rude we had to take a business card and do some investigating. This girl was charged with heroin, possession, child neglect. Oh and she tried killing a man for 3000! What law firm hires someone like this. Well she failed to call my sister up and tell her she had court which caused her to get a bench warrant. When we called this marlen girl said they didn't have a number on her....really!!! And she gets rude with us. Terry then says if you don't like it too bad. And he filed a motion to withdraw and mails it to us. Well if you don't have a number to call her obviously you had an address! We left our number many times anyways. We looked her up on Facebook and posts a picture of her sleeping on the couch with her baby in the office watching tv-nap time at mommy's job at the mccreary law firm! So is this why you didn't call my sister or answer the phone and now she is sitting in jail and has 2 kids! If you guys don't believe me look her name up. This is why Terry got her a year offer on failure to pay a fine-he was too busy running a day care not a law firm.

My husband was arrested on multiple drug charges a couple months ago and I didn't even know where to begin. A friend of mine referred Terry and I immediately called The McCreary Law Firm and was scheduled to come in the following day. Terry assured me that he would do everything in his power to help my husband and that he did. Every time that I called the office they were polite and professional. If I needed to speak with Terry, a phone conference was always provided. Terry was able to have three out of four charges dropped and my husband is now only having to do probation! I would never trust anyone else to be my attorney. Thank you McCreary Law Firm!
