Very optimistically headed out with my two little ones to get the deal posted by Miller Farms for 5 bags of produce for $20. The ad listed all the veggies you could get, but said nothing about paying for a service. I simply thought I was getting a product. When I arrived I was told it was going to be $60 - $20 PER PERSON. I took the time to show 3 different people the ad that they had posted which clearly read $20 for 5 bags and nothing about per person. Not only did they not acknowledge how the post read. They simply denied responsibility and said anyone who knows them knows how they run. When I explained to Kris, the owner, that I hadn't known, and was going off the ad they posted ($20 for 5 bags of veggies) and that I only brought the $20, she acted completely rude and dismissive. Honestly I expected something like "Oh, yes, I could see how the post reads that way, I'll be sure to change that". Instead Kris chewed me up, spit me out, and ultimately ground me into the soil. As I tried to maintain calm my reply simply came out "Well, all I brought is this $20, but I won't be coming back." Her response: she Yelled at me. As if I couldn't be shocked more! I cocked my head and said to her "You are seriously yelling at me right now? I'm not yelling at you. How rude can you be?" To which she growled back that me saying I wasn't coming back was rude. Okay. How about we take some responsibility for how we're running our business here? My last response as I walked away "If that's how you want to run your business, that's your call". I don't care how good of a deal MILLER FARMS produce seems to be. I will not Ever EVER support a business whose owner walks on other people to get ahead in life.
