Avoid this place!!! The person I was assigned has no idea on what he is doing and I was told the manager looked it over. I called and spoke to Will about preparing my S-Corp tax returns. I have a small part-time home based business with only myself as an employee and I use cash basis accounting. Simple accounting and not a lot of transactions throughout the year. He quoted me a price of $125. About a week later he said the price would have to be $150, as the $125 was too low. Then about a week later, he said the price of $150 was per return, with the 1120S and the K-1 being two different returns for a total price of $300. I said no, and he later agreed to reduce the price to $250. Reluctantly I allowed him to proceed.



After saying he completed the returns, I made an appointment and went to his office. He gave me a copy of the 1120S and said I'll be right back as he went to get the flash drive that I gave him with all of the info, which included my bank statements for the year, the income statement that I had prepared and a general ledger showing all the entries. When I looked at the return, I noticed the gross income was showing $6K with a net loss for the year. He came back and I asked, "Is this a joke?". He said no, why? I said, where did the gross income of $6K come from? He said he took it straight from my W-2. I said, WHAT????? My W-2??? You took the company's gross income from my W-2???? That is the salary that the company paid me, not the gross income. I proceeded to tell him that I had even prepared an income statement that showed all the details, and the gross revenue was significantly higher. He pulled up the income statement from the flash drive, and then he shocked me again when he said that if he used that, I would be liable for paying taxes. Unbelievable!!!! Yes, I know I have to pay taxes, that is how are system works. Needless to say, I took my flash drive and left.
