I have been coming to Procare Physical Therapy for 3 weeks now for sever back pain. My pain is virtually gone. They also rehabbed my shoulder a year ago and was back to golf and tennis within a month. The therapists and staff are fantastic. They truly care about their patients. They are fun and diligent; they go out of their way to make each client comfortable while ensuring proper healing. They have the perfect combination of comfort and pushing. They do much more than sports medicine too. Highly recommend!

Without a second thought, If could give ProCare Fort Lauderdale a thousand stars, I would! I have never been so impressed with a Physical Therapy team in my life. I have recovered from what is now my third ACL surgery. My first two injuries were sustained as a ProSki racer, where I had a team of doctors and therapists after my fingertips. As a retired competitor, I was very nervous going into therapy that the level of care just wouldn't be the same. Well, I was wrong! The team at Procare was incredible from Day 1! They truly put the meaning into TEAM. Together Everyone Accomplishes More. Sussy at the front desk was so helpful, nice and compassionate, which gave me comfort from the start. As I progressed in my therapy and had the pleasure of working with each of the therapists, I saw how well they communicated with each other, but also helped each other out, functioning as a team, to make each patient feel important. They truly made me feel like they cared and wanted me to succeed. Not only are they exceptional at what they do physically, but their ability to connect with each patient on an emotional level was impressive. If you're someone who has recovered from a difficult injury or surgery, you know how important and comforting this Is! I was very sad to say goodbye to the team, as they made me feel like a part of the family! Driving 45 min a few times a week was definitely worth it! I would recommend them to anyone at any age no matter what their needs are. Thank you the entire Procare Team for being one of a kind!!!

I have been very pleased with my experience with Procare Physical Therapy. Everyone is so incredibly friendly and helpful. I never have to wait. The office is so well organized and everyone on the staff is very knowledgeable. I have tried all the major PT offices in the Broward area and beyond and this has been the best one by far! My knee felt better after the first day and I am almost pain free.

When I came to Procare I was on the verge of possibly needing a cervical fusion. With their knowledge and exercise regimen I was able to get back to my regular, pain free life and avoid surgery. I am extremely thankful for their encouraging words and assurance that we could fix my issue. I highly recommend Procare PT in Fort Lauderdale, for any of your physical therapy needs...friendly, knowledgeable staff that makes the PT experience that much more enjoyable! AWESOME PLACE!!!

I have received physical therapy at Procare PT for 6 months now after a sever Car Accident and 3 subsequent Surgeries. From day 1 that have always given me the best of care. They are compassionate, patient, kind and hard working. I am so appreciative for all that they have done and continue to do for me, and I trust their care for me in my journey and am confident now that I will have a 100% recovery.

What a difference Michael Trathen RPT and his Team made in my recovery from partial knee replacement surgery. I had originally been a patient of Mike’s after surgery for a torn meniscus and was impressed by his professionalism. Unfortunately, my knee continued to deteriorate as the damage was too far and I had to return to surgery for the partial replacement. I also returned to Procare Physical Therapy because I trusted Mike and his team’s professional approach to my initial surgery. The team not only taught me the appropriate exercises to speed my recovery, they also provided me with alternative exercises that worked the same muscle groups and, most importantly for me, explained the reason for each exercise. I had the objective measure of the Team, the work when I walked faster, stopped taking elevators and went back to the stairs, and improved my motion is general. The team is always up beat and always good humored and patient. There is constant laughter in the clinic and lot of positive energy for healing. Jim is great to work with. I would recommend Procare to anyone who needed first class physical therapy and health guidance. Thanks, Mike and the entire Procare Team. These guys are great!!! I am a Professional Athlete and developed a stubborn hip injury that has limited my play for the past year (+). I have been to a series of Doctors and Medical Professional with no luck. I have been working for the past year with our team’s medical staff and several University and local Contracted Sports / PT Centers. When one of my college teammate recommended Michael Trathen PT. He told me of Mike's has a long standing history of working with Pro athletes and has an exceptional reputation. He is the guy that people go to when all else has failed. I was a bit skeptical at first, mainly because I had so many previous fails. But, Wow.... right from the start I could tell Mike was in a league of his own. He spent literally an hours with me. He broke my body down to the smallest issues, from noes to toes (sitting, standing, jumping, squatting, bending, laying down, side…..etc.) I can honestly say Mike is on a whole other level then the people I have worked with in the past. I worked with Mike and his Team 3x a week for 2 months and they are by far best team of therapists I have ever had. Mike and the Procare Team were attentive to my injury and extremely knowledgeable. They were determined to seek out ways to help me heal and gain strength that tailored specifically to my needs as well as my sport. I made more progress at Procare in two months than I did in a year 1/2 with other highly credentialed PT/Athletic Trainers/Doctors. I will never go to another Center again… He even replied to my emails when I was on the road, with detail explanations and even sent videos to help me get better. Procare will always be my #1 choice!!! A COLOSSAL HUGE MASSIVE THANKS TO MIKE AND THE PROCARE TEAM!!

I can honestly Say Michael Trathen PT and Procare are the best in Florida. I have been dealing with multiple medical issues for many years, including 4 revisions of a knee replacement, cervical and lumbar spinal issues, and bilateral peripheral nerve issues in my upper extremities, requiring 18 surgeries since 2012, and leading me to countless doctors, treatment options, and rehabilitation facilities. Last July, I was required to make a change with my physical therapy and a friend recommended Michael Trathen at Procare Physical Therapy. His son worked with Mike many years ago for a hamstring injury and loved the care he received. Michael had him back playing high school football within weeks! To be honest, the thought of starting with another PT Center was very overwhelming to me. I was truly over dealing with different PTs and PTAs and spending my time and money doing exercises by myself while my PT or PTA worked with other patients, sometimes up to 6 patients at a time. But, I needed help, so after much prayerful consideration, I decided to give Mike a try. It was the best decision I ever made...a true blessing. I have been working with Mike and his team Karen and Claude 3X a week since our initial consultation last August. Procare follows a 1 to 2 patient - one therapist and a hands on philosophy of treatment, even when a patient is performing their exercises; making necessary adjustments for technique, form, and posture. The patient has the therapist’s undivided attention for the entire session. The facility is excellent and the staff is not only professional, but very kind and caring. Mike will say hello and ask how I am doing every time I see him! But, I am most impressed with and truly thankful for his Team. In the past, many therapists have been intimidated by my multiple medical issues. The Procare Team was more than willing to help me. Their approach is comprehensive and compassionate treating my whole body to lower pain levels and improve function. At the end of each session, they makes sure to point out any positives or progress being made. They are always encouraging and more than willing to answer questions. While they are skill and knowledge are incredible, their patience is amazing and awe-inspiring! They are ALWAYS so patient with me. I am already 75% better than I have felt in 15 years. I do not know how far I will be able to get with my recovery, but with this teams help and dedication, I am hopeful I will be able to one day achieve a more normal active lifestyle! I highly recommend Mike, Claudiu, Karen and the whole Procare Team, They have exceeded all my expectations and for the first time in many years, I have actually allowed myself to be excited about my recovery and potential future! As a Doctor with over 20 years of experience, I can tell you this place is on a whole different level than their competitors. The patient care that takes place at Procare Physical Therapy is truly one of a kind. They do it all here. I saw all types of patients from Young Professional Athletes, 80-90 year old geriatric, teenagers and even a winner of Mr. Universe/Body Builder. I saw all types of diagnosis from: sports injuries, total hip replacement, ACL repairs, Parkinson’s, knee replacement, balance problems, and others. They treat everything and with top notch care. All the patient I observed were treated with exceptional care and raved about this place. This made me feel so comfortable right from the start, to know these people could handle anything. I had the unique experience of having been to several local PT Centers. As a patient for chronic neck and back pain. Not that they were bad, but Procare is by far the best. From front office to patient care this place is 1st PT Center to make a dent in my pain. I was amazed at the amount of one-on-one patient to therapist treatment and the genuine care that each therapist had for their patients. Every time I chatted with a patient they would make sure to remind me how lucky I was to be having treatment here. Procare has a highly qualified staff. I learned so much from them. This is something truly special that I have never experienced before coming to Procare. Not only did the therapist care for their patients, but the patients cared for their therapists because they saw results from their treatments.
If I could give Procare Physical Therapy 10 stars I would, and it comes highly recommended from me.

Procare Physical Therapy provided an exceptional rehab experience in an incredibly professional and friendly environment. Following three surgeries within 2 years for my complex situation, the PPT staff created a highly-individualized, one-on-one, hands-on program that gave me the best opportunity to return to normal functioning. I am very grateful that I was redirected to this facility by my pain management office, after not having success elsewhere. Hats off to Dr. Michael Trathen and his amazing staff!!

When I came to Procare PT I had serious doubts if would ever be able to ride my bicycle long distance ever again. I had been to 2 other PT Centers and 6 9 months of failed PT. I am so blessed to get a recommendation from my Ortho Doc to go see Michael Trathen PT. I was basically in tears when I came to him. He did the most intensive/comprehensive evaluation I have ever had. He literally spent an Hour with me. He broke me down from nose to toes. After that day I knew I was in great hands. After months of highly skilled and individualized treatment, I am now riding again and 100% pain free! I am so grateful! I cannot say enough about their professionalism, skill and caring. Special thanks to Karen and Cluade that carried out the Plan of care (written by Mike), which has worked like a charm! I would recommend anyone with pelvic floor and hip issues to seek them out. Excellent service! I can now go back to leading the healthy and fun lifestyle I have always enjoyed.

I went to Procare Physical Therapy for rehab on my knee after surgery. Both my family doctor and my orthopedic, told me this guy Mike is the best in the biz. So, I had high expectation when I got here. The staff was very professional. Michael did my initial evaluation. He not only looked at knees but he also broke down my posture, hips, feet and my gait. He told my why I was getting so much extra force into my knee which had broken down over time. WOW!! I wish I could turn back time so I could have seen him before these dysfunctions persisted. But, this may save my other knee and prevent this problem from happening again. Michael Drew up my treatment program. Once I started my treatment, I met a great lady named Karen. She was very knowledgeable and a friendly person to work with. She was gentle and never pushed me too hard. Karen guided me through the process of getting stronger so I could go about my daily activities. She is now working on my shoulder pre surgery to strengthen it to allow for a better recovery. I would definitely recommend Procare Physical Therapy to everyone. I know choosing the right place for rehabilitation is not an easy choice. After meeting the staff and after the first session you'll know you're in good hands. Thank you Doctor Mike, Karen and the whole staff for always taking good care of me.

Michael Trathen PT and his team of great therapist Karen and Claudiu were an integral part of my healing from shoulder and neck surgery earlier this year. Their manual therapy techniques are amazing, they have an uncanny ability/talent to find and release tight and contracted areas and then provides exercises to stretch and strengthen those areas. They are not only a talented Therapist, but also is trained in CranioSacral therapy and other techniques which makes her work even more effective. I have been to several physical therapists, and Michael the owner is by far the best at pinpointing the challenged areas and knowing how to work with them. I am seeing them again for some similar issues that have come back from overuse in the last several months and feel better after 5 sessions. I can end without acknowledging Sussy at the front desk she is soooooo sweet and has the most amazing smile that greets you every session. She is a doll. Michaels Mom also works the front desk and she is hilarious always laughing and smiling. They are excellent at the front office. They always get me the appointment times I want and my referrals without delay. This Procare PT team is really on point. I absolutely enjoy each and every session. Thanks Procare!!

I am four month out of treatment at Procare PT and have to say
I am an avid runner, traveling softball player, basketball player and a general exercise enthusiast. But, for the past year I have been unable to do any of these activities due to a painful Hamstring and Ankle injury.
At Procare PT, I was able to get into therapy without delay and began a program that consisted of hands on treatment, exercises and muscle energy techniques. I loved the diversity of treatment approaches, especially challenging with with sports related activities that mimicked associated sports moments. I wanted the most comprehensive and toughest regimen they had to offer, and they did not disappoint! Michael was clear in outlining what I was to accomplish in therapy to insure support and healing. Karen and Claude established exercises that were challenging and faling.
I had the best time in the Clinic, while getting the workout I desired as I was healing my injury. The hands on methods of treatment were critical in giving me an added boost to he continue the regimen on my own. All staff were friendly and helpful.
After 6-8 weeks of PT 3 x a Week at Procare, I left feeling amazing.
For the past month I have been playing in a backetball league and am leading me team in scoring and feeling amazing. Thanks for everything Procare!! These Guys Are the Best of the Best!!

The ProCare Staff was fantastic right from the get go. From the time I made that fist phone call, till the day I was discharged, It has been a great experience coming here. They have really helped me big time. I was having sever pain in the elbow and also numbness going into my pinky. The Pain was debilitating. I had tried many things prior to coming here. Chiropractic,acupuncture, cortisone shots and several doctors.. I went to an Orthopedic Elbow/Wrist specialist in Miami, who wanted to do some kind of crazy surgery. She was going to open up my elbow and move the nerve to a different location. I was like, oh Hell NO!! There has to be another way. The doctor then gave me the Option to go see Michael at Procare. She said, he is the best PT in South Florida. I was desperated when I came to see Michael Trathen. He could tell I was nerveous, and he made me feel as ease right from the moment I met him. He sat with me and broke down my issue, so I could understand what was going on in my arm. Everyone else just talked surgery or over my head. So I appreciated him taking the time to teach me. He then explained what his team was going to do to fix my problem. I have to tell you I was a bit skeptical, but game. But, OMG it has been a complete success!! The Procare Team (Mike, Karen and Claude) have done the best job. At first My pain got worse, which Michael had warned might happen. But, slowly my pain started to subside and the tiggling in my finger stopped. I woke up one day and was like where did it go??? I had a couple days where it flared up, but Mike and the team continue to work on me till I was 100% pain free with no numbness/tingling. Sussy the office manager is all about customer service and just a doll!!. The team is made up of awesome physical therapists. Every day I came to the facility all the patients and staff were always having fun!! Everyone is alway smiling, from the front desk to the therapist. Joan and Sussy are efficient and always keeps you up to date with your appointments and insurance stuff. All in all this is a wonderful place to come and get fixed. They are the BEST OF THE BEST. If you are told you need sugery, please do yourself a favor and call Procare Physical Therapy.

As both I Doctor and a patient I can tell you that Michael Trathen RPT is by far the best PT I have found. He embodies everything you could ask for in a PT. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. I have been in PT since 1999, for all sorts of injuries (sprained ankle, lower back, upper back, hip, shoulder) on both the West Coast and East Coast- I can state without a doubt -- that Procare Physical Therapy Fort Lauderdale is the best physical therapy out there. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and communicates that knowledge to you, the patient, in whatever dose is right for you (for me, that's big doses). Michael also happens to have a wonderful, positive spirit, which is shared by his upbeat and competent staff. And the facility is bright, spacious,extremely well-equipped, and well-located. You couldn't ask for anything more. I would never go anywhere else other than Procare Physical Therapy.
