Honest and reliable. That is my review for Great American Van Lines. They were timely and they charged me very reasonably, plus that they showed professionalism of the highest level handling my things. I highly recommend them.

No words are enough to thank these guys. My friend recommended Great American Van Lines and I took their number from him and called for a quote. Their rep was very quick to setup an appointment and offered me the best package that suited my requirements. He was very responsive and attentive and also very informative. He clearly explained what should I expect and how far they can go. After completing the paper work I was waiting for the big day. Their moving team arrived on time at the move day with all necessary tools and packing materials, supplied free boxes during packing and used plenty of tapes. They padded all my furniture nicely, took great care of the valuables and breakables and completed the loading without a hitch. Delivery was made within the allotted time nothing was damaged or broken, not even a glass!! And I paid less than the estimated amount which was great. In the end, I got a very good service within my budget and allotted time.

Awesome, no-hassle move. Excellent communication and expectations set prior to the move. Movers were actually able to arrive an hour early and worked around us doing our last-minute packing. Everybody on the team was polite and professional. No breaks, no slacking. Move, move, move! No surprises on price, exactly as quoted.

They gave me everything that I was looking from a moving company. Reliability, honesty, dexterity, and well behavior all these good qualities are available in them. For that reason they can complete a move without any occurrence. They immediately executed their service upon arrival. I had to move with my one large bed room furniture. It was nothing for them. They took merely a few hours to pack and load onto the truck. There were just several large boxes and coupe of wardrobe boxes and some wrapped furniture. And at last, the end was pretty nice. I paid them their quoted rate. I am happy that I have seen a day when I rated a moving company five stars. Good job guys.

I want to recapture my experience for you so you can know how impressed I was with my service. I originally was speaking with Nathan and because of his persistence (and patience) he won my business. He was not overly pushy but answered any and all questions I had. He was patient with me as I did not know my exact move date due to a hiring process I was involved in. He never got short or impatient and that was a very good tactic for me. Once the move date was set, the moving truck came to my villa within the window of time that he said it would. I also got a call from Koba the day before to confirm this. On the day of the move, Koba pulled up in front of my house, hopped out of the truck, walked toward me, shook my hand and introduced himself. All the while he kept good eye contact. This immediately gave me confidence and assurance that I was dealing with a professional

We found Great American Van Lines via a relative. After a disaster with another company who wanted to overcharge at pickup, we needed a mover on short notice. Great American Van Lines came through. Great service on short notice. The delivery drivers called the day before, then the next day to give us a time, then arrived within 30 minutes of that time. They unload was fast, with everything placed as we wished. They removed all packing and was on their way. Extremely courteous, and efficient.

They were punctual and had all the packing materials needed. They worked carefully yet quickly and were very polite. The packers even wore gloves when packing the dishes and crystals. Talk about white glove service. They came to deliver on the set day and set up all the furniture and unpacked the boxes. Magnificent work from start to finish and not a scratch on one thing. The price was more than fair too.

I was moving my things from NC to Montana and have never had a worse moving experience in my entire life. I'm 60 years old, so as you can imagine, I've moved many times. This company not only destroyed a number of my prized possessions and antiques, but the original quote was for $2114 and after loading my stuff they handed me a bill for $3458. They delivered my things several weeks later than what they had originally promised and arrived with little notice during the worse snow storm in two years. So, I was forced to drive from Yellowstone National Park where I work and my boss insisted that I take a sleeping bag and extra clothes and water in case something were to happen. Upon arrival they were putting snow chains on the 18 wheeler and after paying hundreds of dollars for a bulk fee the first thing I noticed is they had disassembled my $3800 South African table, did not protect it all and treated it like firewood. My Tempur-pedic bed was ruined, along with an antique Queen Anne oak chair, an $800 lounge chair, a cherry dresser I had for 50 years, with lots of other problems like a broken hinge on my cedar chest, etc.. The last time I heard from their manager, he said "you're not going to get a dime from us you SOB" and then hung up on me. Today, after four months their supposed claims processor, CSI, sent me a Closed Claim Notice saying "that they would like to handle my claim directly".

Absolute worst moving company I have EVER delt with. They were extreamly late picking up my stuff. They 10 days late delivering it.



Before they delivered it, they called me to deposite additional money to a checking account, above what was agreed. They tried to charge me for an extra 1500 lbs of stuff that I didn't have (I made the truck weigh).



My stuff arrived severely damaged and full of roaches. The delivery drivers didn't even have tools to put stuff back together.



And the worst part is that all of my stuff was delivered infested with roaches. Thousands of them. I had to throw away all of the boxes of clothing. The driver told me the warehouse they put my stuff in was really bad. Now I have to pay an exterminator to get rid of the bugs in my brand new house.



They seem great, but once they pick up your stuff they are going to rip you off and hold your stuff until you pay what you don't owe.
