General Stanford Elementary School, established in 1999, offers academic programs to more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school conducts classes in various subjects, such as language arts, math, science, social studies, English, computer technology and physical education. It has a parent-teacher association that provides financial assistance and services to the school. The school offers a one-on-one program, reading recovery, for students with reading disabilities. It also offers a talented and gifted center program, which includes teacher recommendations, classroom performance and standardized test scores.
